Ranking Member Cole Welcomes Republican Members of the House Rules Committee

Washington, D.C. — Congressman Tom Cole (OK-04), Ranking Member of the House Rules Committee, today welcomed Republican members appointed to the committee for the 116th Congress. Serving on behalf of House Republicans will be Congressman Rob Woodall (GA-07), Congressman Michael Burgess (TX-26) and Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (AZ-08).

“Especially in divided government, service on the House Rules Committee is critical to ensuring members on both sides of the aisle have a voice. Following their years of exceptional service on the committee, I am pleased to welcome back Congressmen Woodall and Burgess. And joining the panel for the first time, I am delighted to also welcome Congresswoman Lesko. While there will certainly be challenges, I have every confidence that my Republican colleagues are fully equipped and ready for what lies ahead in the 116th Congress. I very much look forward to serving together.”
